just got back from some People In Planes (i'll link this later) tv filming thing at the Berkeley Church. I loved every second of it. oh they are so good and cute and have fabulous voices and i am going to bit torrent their new album right now! I took my brother's friend Chris, he is one of a kind and also one of the few people i know that love music as much as i do and he is always filled with such wonderful recommendations and downloading suggestions.

friday was an unplanned gong show as per f'in usual. erin finally did pick me up in a cab with a total babe of a dude that said cute funny things all night. If i could remember any of them I would steal them and use them as my own right now. after the howiwonthewarmakeyourexit show at the elmo we missioned it to octopus lounge so we could dance to old school funk for a little while but not after stopping at dee's to see who may be milling about. oh what a surprise labella was there! ha he's like a fixture on the wall in that place. it's nice. i always know there's someones nachos i can steal.

wtf happened to my american apparel summer shirt??!! i mean i never even went in that store. I'm returning this peice of shit tomorrow. washed it once and this is what happened? i thought maybe a mouse got in the dryer and was eating away at everything while he flip flopped around in there but NO! all the other clothes are fine.

last night we(i) were incredibly indecisive about what to do. I'm still a big ball of sickness but I really couldnt stay in the house another night. holy stir crazy! so jogee invited me out to his guys night movie thing...i figured action movie + dubay could be a good time.. so i went and then found out the plan had changed and that we were going to some other peeps house for dinner. (kzwheatbag - i swear we will get our shit together and hang soon!!!) so we truck it to the lcbo and pile in a cab and land in such a glorious big beautiful old renovated home where 3 lovely girls live and they make us shrimp pesto pasta and kale salad and cinnabuns and pecan pie and there is wine and beer and oh it was just so nice. they even added the leaf to the table so we could all dine like a true family. Thank you Nicole for the invite! can we come again next week?





ugh phone pics

black and white the framework video shoot party woo! i forgot about this because we mostly just sat around for 4 hours eating catered food and then rocking out for 5 minutes. well it wasn't 5 minutes, it was more like an hour, and the director told me I was the best dancer/girl rocking out and asked me to dance on my own without music so everyone else at the shoot could mimic what i was doing. I'm not even lieing she actually said this. smart girl! it also probably helped going to 5 billion rock shows for the past 10 years oh and not to mention im a total babe. HOLY jogee how are you going to get my head through the door?! Not sure when the vid will be done but obviously I will post as soon as I hear. ha. we left early so watch they edit all of me out. :(

after we rocked our little dinner party, i peeled jogee off the couch (he ate all the leftovers off of everyones plate) and we headed to the shoe for Make Your Exit .

I have honestly never seen the Horseshoe that packed on a Monday night. We were a little worried when we rolled in at 9:50 and the place had like 7 people in it, but then BAM out of no where right before they went on a stream of friends and lovers just poured through the door. It was a dreamy wonderful little show. The boys were all covered in polka dots (i swear they were moving, were they moving?)and they set the perfect mood for their music. I'll have to steal some photos from ANT to give you guys a better feel for what was going on. Nice boys, chill tunes and tons of great supportive friends. Check their myspace for the next show cause I'm sure they'll be 4 N's in Now next week or soemthing...

hi friends, i just got out of bed. YESSSSSSS. I coughed up half of my bodily fluids last night. this cold will not quit! So seeing as yesterday my boss was all " why did you come in" i figured I'd take her up on that "kind of" offer. So im home drinking oj and shooting oil of oregano down my throat.

That little babe hayley made us dinner last night at Jimbob's. Jogee and I are far overdue for actually holding a dinner party. we just keep getting invited to these things! I forgot the camera again so these will have to do. I also forgot to take pictures before we started eating. She made these stuffed pork wrapped cheese pesto things and roasted potatoes and fried mushrooms and salad and mmmm it was perfect. and omg she even baked cookies for dessert. i am fully sucking in the housewife department. let it be known.
