I've never been a picky eater. At least as long as I can remember. MOM - was i a picky eater growing up?

I'm pretty annoyed by picky eaters. I can never understand why people just don't love all food all the time. Until now. I'm starting not to like certain foods. It's weird!

foods I'm starting to dislike:

sun dried tomatoes
red onions (I've never really liked these)
omelets (i like eggs, i just can't deal with the consistency of an omelet)
really old cheeses
mustard (this is a funny one. most of the time i don't like it but every once and awhile im fully down with slathering a dog with mustard)
caraway anything
pineapple (i know! how do i not like this delicious fruit!)
liver (duh)

and that's all i can think of right now. jogee! can you think of any others?

i'm always stoked when i ask new friends out for lunch and i say "where do you want to go" and they say "anywhere, im not picky". rad!

however, i have serious cravings constantly and need to eat whatever i'm thinking of that day or my whole day is ruined. no joke. this is also why jogee never really makes me dinner cause i never really want what he wants to make.

pretty much the funniest people in toronto. If there is one thing I can recommend in toronto for a totally amazing good time its seeing the boom live. Although not for everyone (some of the comedy can be offensive to certain peeps) this comedy troupe is by far one of the best! Such a great mix of comedians, fresh new sketches all the time, professional and so wonderfully organized. I'm so happy they're back from their hiatus! woo! comedy night back!

i've been on a pretty steady search for a comic that I can actually get into for the past couple years and a couple weeks ago it happened. I was in silver snail picking up Vampirella - jogee pointed this one out to me and the cover art was so ridic i had to own it. I usually kinda eye the shelves to see if there's any comics that send out the vibe and i until this day - i leave empty handed (lie. i usually always leave with a kidrobot something). Babes and Dudes I introduce you to 'Forgetless'.



so far, SO GOOD. the chicks are hot, the dialogue is hilarious, it's relevant and edgy and cool and daaaaaaamn girl you need to pick it up. hurry, cause it's only on issue 4 so you can jump right into the action and not have 500 back issues to read.

Raymi was a doll and took me as her date to the bombay sapphire after work shin dig yesterday. Lucky for me it was a 2 minute walk from my work. so much for a booze free monday!

Then we headed upstairs for the grilling/drink mixing live action with Merlin Griffiths and Chef Rob Rainford. Aside from there being a wind storm on the rooftop patio and the temperature dropping to 5 degrees there was a ridiculously sick view and the food and drinks were incredibly succulent (thank you steady maintenance for the adjective). Chatted with Julian of Notable TV for a little bit and then spotted geekigirl. Both totally down to earth radical peeps. I'm on the mailing list for notable but I've honestly never had the time to peruse through the emails or check out the website but I'm fully feeling the idea and am always a huge supporter of anything for young professionals by young professionals. its a dog-eat-dog world out there and things like this should be fully embraced.















We tried 4 different drinks:

The Sapphire Southside: lime juice, mint leaves, sugar syrup, soda water, and gin obvi - refreshing summery loved it

The Sapphire Sangaree: gin, ruby port, cointreau, lemon juice - too intense for me, very boozy

and The Sapphire Barcelona: gin, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, prosecco - amazing! perfect for a sundeck party!

are you ever going to make these? email me for the recipes if you're a die hard gin fan. You'll never have a gin and tonic again.
