i drank enough on saturday night to send me into a spiralling cryfest. probably didnt help that i was about 7 hours away from riding the crimson wave and uber stressed about going back to work. I am excited about ending this bender though, probably not as excited as every much music vj and guest at the mmva's " omg im so excited for tonight, tonight is so exciting! on the same note: i loved how that guy Devon constantly repeated to everyone on the red carpet "take advantage of the open bar!" obviously. come on Devon...

(jogee) I was just introduced to this band today and have a new affinity for them. It's kinda metal but very Experimental / Psychedelic / Progressive, which I think is wiiiicked. I'm not expecting anyone reading this to like them but their new video is pretty funkin' cool. You have to watch it all the way through though. (those words look funny beside eachother) Sidenote: I like the word, "UNIVERSAL". Anyways......

this is the result of walking with incredibly sore thighs from ripping it at the gym too hard and from jogee working in a dungeon all day. oh and maybe a little bit of maryjane too.

we had all intention to make it to Black Hat Brigade at Neutral last night for nxne but we were all super lazy and by the time we got there they had 2 songs left so we decided to just hang outside and witness the embarrassment that is drugs and a raver from 1990. "i just got a 400 million dollar credit limit, im taking all you ladies out!" he actually said this. i don't think he knows he has to pay that back. regardless it was a nice short little hang out and dan managed to rock the greatest shirt of all time.

so after a long day of tanning and body pump and sunglasses buying and sushi jogee shopping spree, we put on some new threads and went to the nxne opening party gala thing idontknowwhatitwasfuckingcalled at Palais Royale (guest list only suckers!). That place is swanky. rad gigantor patio. my only beef was it was cash bar (and you had to get tickets first, irritating) and it was cash food! (other then the little nibblies in between)and the live entertainment was lacking. I was hoping for some band with waify hot singers or something. meh i still had a great time and watching raymi dance was an added benefit.

(jogee) Not sure why they are going to make a new street fighter movie based on the classic video game but here's this video I just came across that is........wow, holy shit.

Jogee and I decided to crush a couple beers on the way to Toonie Tuesday Jays Birthday Party for Hayley, but we're both pretty paranoid about getting public drinking tickets, so I suggested we just rendezvous in the nearest hotel. worked out perfectly. we were both so in sync with our plan that when we sat in front of some room on some random floor and a business man came out into a cloud of jogee's farts and me swearing like a sailor it was allllll good.

we went with a mediterranean burger and thai stirfry with shrimp. both fantastic! and we thought we were in for crap. you go fox and the fiddle!
