friday night was a rockin good time. i took my first sip of booze after 5 days of nothing. im getting really good at this. new years here i come 20 pnds lighter! woo! we ate dinner with adam and clare and then hit up broszkowski's (spelling?) birthday party with raymi and fil, but i think we only lasted about 45 mins there and then we were back at our little apartment eating red charcoal pizza, and playing PS3 olympics and almost burning the apartment to the ground. it's true, i was all into these little candles ever since jogee surprised me with a candlelit house last week, so i lit em up and then when i was changing the cd (i know a cd! weird!) i put my pizza napkin down onto the flames and then bam! all of our wedding invitations were on fire and no one noticed until i heard raymi go FIRE! uh fire! there's a fire! hahaha it was funny for about 3 seconds and then for about 10 minutes after but during it was very very very NOT funny. i felt like an elementary school fire department lesson. anyways i started blowing on everything and then jogee came over and covered the table in water. all good, just half the invitations are semi burnt. lovely night though, i was in prime positive partying mood. :)

so one of my bestest buddies is getting married on Saturday. Hi Courtney! and last night jogee was playing more playoffs baseball, so i decided to treat myself to a night of pampering. too bad it wasn't on someone else, instead i had to pay the following:
haircut: $45 plus $5 tip pretty cheap considering i called W on Queen and the guy said $70 for a senior stylist. bullshit. so i just went around the corner to some little salon that I've been to in a panic i need my haircut kind of time before and got this darling bob that looks way too flat and boring in the pic below but is actually really cute in person... or at least that's what im convincing myself of. my usual hair stylist was on vacation this week and i thought i could wait until after the wedding but damn those pictures i take on saturday will be around for a very long time and i dont want to have some grown out sketchy mess of a head... ANYWAYS.. here's a picture of me in the elevator that i sent to half of you guys already. Mom, do you like it?
it's too bad i dont have a scanner cause then i would find the one picture i have of me and courtney standing outside my parents house in the summer of like 98 or something...
mani/pedi/eyebrow wax: $53 plus $5 tip. typical i guess. im sure you could get it cheaper somewhere but i don't want gangrene in my hand and then have to cut it off naw wha im sayin? they look pretty.
i have amazing feet. not quite as perfect as mariska's but still good.
oh and finally this perfume that i have been obsessing about ever since my friend knitrovert introduced it to me way back when i was like 21, came in at
outer layer so i went and picked it up.
GINGERALE PERFUME whats up! it smells exactly like gingerale too. so i overdosed on it this morning and then when i walked to work i could smell it cause my skin was sweating cause i was late for work and had to rip it all the way there. as per usual. don't go and buy yourself any cause that would be lame, cause really its my scent now, oh and knitrovert's first i guess..so i guess im a hypocrite. outer layer is very rad store if you are in the t dot. raymi bought her mother's day gifts there i think. OMG I JUST WENT TO THAT PERFUME'S WEBSITE AND THEY HAVE SO MANY OTHER FLAVORS!!
If i wasn't all into having this crazy career then i would work at outer layer forever. im sure it gets lame always having to talk to bitchy woman who are just spending money on crap that they don't need but it would be neat to do the ordering of the crap. and i guess the receiving too.
oh and did i mention i totally broke our camera? well jogee's camera... i dont even recall when.. i think it was before journey...but i dropped it on some hard surface somewhere and now the screen is all facked up. still works though, like you can see at least half of what you took the picture of and when you upload them on the compy they are all fine. just annoying i guess. must be a sign that i need to invest in a new one.. or buy jogee a new one... or ask for one for christmas. speaking of christmas, have you guys starting making your lists yet???? i was going to go through the consumers distributing catalogue but then i forgot that place went bankrupt or something in like 1989. i loved how they had that conveyor belt and you would just stand there waiting for your toys to come out. oh wait i just added that link above. they went to shit in 1997. woh i can't believe there is a wiki on that. i love the internet.
hmm what else is new? i was supposed to go to hot yoga again tonight, but i didnt cause i invited raymi and steph over to rummage through 6 bag of clothes that i was pretty much over. it was such a nice little swapping party. not as intense as the last one i went to. this one was more private. plus half of jogee's clothes were in there so fil got some sweet deals too.
ok off to the gym where i will loathe every fucking moment on that elliptical. woo!

jogee dragged me to the gym tonight. i brought my jay spectre cd with me and put it in the communal listening stations and then i ripped it for 45 minutes. i hated every second of it. what can i do to make working out fun? cause it's not like i only need to do this right now, its just gonna get worse as i get older, plus ill have a more strenuous job, plus maybe hopefully cross your fingers i havent tarnished my ovaries too bad, also do it after and with kids. i know i know tony horton will get me through it, but i dont know, if he doesnt come out with some new videos soon with my top 5 as the actors doing the alternate moves, well i may just have to start cutting out beer and pizza from my diet, and thats like getting dutch ovened every morning for the rest of your life. so pretty much the worst thing ever.

And 'Cafe la Gaffe' on Baldwin is the best breakfast place I have ever been to. They have all the normal breakfast stuff buuuuttttt..... they put roasted peppers and onions with the potatoes.... the peameal bacon must be from the St. Lawrence Market cause it's excellent... the jam tastes like its fresh from a farm, everything just tastes better annnnnd, it comes with a superb salad with all these different types of veggies in it, plus a couple pieces of nice fruit :) They have great coffee drinks... Skeesh loves 'em, I've never had a cup in my life. I know, shocking.... End of story.

oh maaaaaaan why do i stay out until 2am on the weekdays again? so i can test out hangover remedies at work all day? so far i still haven't figured out what works... and even worse i had insane jaw pain from the dentist yesterday and zero ibuprophen and not enough strength to walk to the corner to buy any. no worries, a little nap and i'll be as good as new!

i just got back from the dentist, the same rad one i talked about before. we worked on a couple more cavities, the inside of my mouth looks funking ridiculously awesome. i gotta say. he even took before and after pics of the teeth! i wonder if i own those pics. i should ask him to send them to me. you guys would appreciate it i think.
jogee is playing softball finals tonight, is that what they're called? finals? i feel like it's another word but i cannot remember what it is. i am actually drooling out of the side of my mouth right now. the drool just dripped onto my pants. haha which reminds me when we were all finished up in the dentist chair they gave me a cup to rinse and it basically poured all over the place out of my mouth onto my jeans. hahahaahahaaha oh man. it was a good moment.
i love dinner nights with jim bob and hayley (i need a nickname for you woman! should i call you lennon?) ok im calling you lennon. Jim bob went to nunavut or somewhere way up there and on his trip he did some fishing and came back with an arctic char. that's probably the wrong spelling, i don't know shit about fishing. ANYWAYS we were joking about how hilarious it would be to eat that fish. (it was frozen and put in his freezer wrapped in a bag and duct tape) and lennon sends me this email telling me we're having a surprise for dinner and im like as long as it's not the arctic char or the beluga whale from nunavut (he brought some beluga whale back too, it looked like a giant vagina) ANYWAYS we get to their place and guess what we're having for dinner?!!!
no we didn't eat the beluga you crazies!

the jon's were given guest list for some party at lobby last night, i offered out g list to everyone even though we could only stay to party for like 30 mins cause we had tickets to midnight madness - the burrowers - meh not bad - but not amazing - some sick effects and interesting story idea... but i dunno... the place was also PACKED with film nerds...
