woh. this blog is starting to lose atleast 50 hits a day due to my excessive social life. sorry guys i just haven't been home at night, like at all... well except for when me and tony horton have our 30 minute love affairs...

we went to a wedding #2 for those who are counting... we have 6 in total this summer i think... anyone want to donate some wedding gifts for our cause?

oh yeah so radiohead... friday.... i get stuck at work till way too late which diminishes all possibilities of a pre drink but thank goodness cause that would have been a bit much... grabbed a cab... got stuck in pouring rain omg as if this is happening please do not be ben harper last year all over again... and arrived just in time for a) grizzly bear (meh, not so much) and b)for mike and caitlin to pull us into VIP, sick. (sidenote: my brother was on the g list with his wife and i was all flabbergasted like wtf? awww soo funny) ANYWAYS, i wore this ridiculous 70's garb and way regretted it when it was pouring and freezing and windy, but then yay it stopped just after grizzly bear and everything was perfect again! and they were amazing and i am obsessed with them again and Thom Yorke i am in love with you. still. ever since grade 8. alright alright i know thats enough...

I should be getting myself pumped by looking at rare radiohead stuff and finding set lists CAUSE WE'RE GOING TO THE CONCERT IN LIKE 4 HOURS OMG....but i was supposed to leave work at noon and it's 3 and im still here. AND i have to go to the dentist in 30 mins. ugh. thank god for madonna and jem.

I had a lovely time at Make your exit last night. it's always such a good buzz to seee your name on a guest list even if it's with 300 other names. hahaha! ha! despite them going on a little later then expected and me getting all excited about what visuals they might have for my dopey eyes...(no visuals, siiiiigh) they packed the shoe again (jeez where do they get all these friends?) and rocked it. I think i may have even sang along to songs. woo!

ugh. it's so nice out and im soooo tired and unmotivated to do anything remotely physical. aaaaaaaand considering i just had the $6 all you can eat chinese buffet from that market thing on Queen, it's safe to say im not going anywhere for a good 3 hours... and rock of love isn't even on tonight. crap. is that show even still going on? I've missed the past 4 episodes probably. oh bret i miss you!

last night was siiiick, as per usual. paid for it this morning though... however i did make it through the day thank god for those smoothie's at starbucks now.



why doesn't anyone ever move up at these shows, we tried but it just wasn't happening. that black and white checkered floor must be the culprit.

ps. i wasn't allowed to take pics at the hip hop vid. probably a good thing because i was sweating up a storm up in that piece. hilarious and ghetto (fabulous) and WAY TOO MUCH camera time (a bunch of girls never showed)... ill keep you posted on when it hits BET. you won't be able to miss me. im the only white girl with no rhythm dancing all up in the dudes face. oh man. oh and i learned a tip.. never have your arms higher then your head when dancing to hiphop/reggae/you get what im saying, as it is a token white girl thing to do...

raymi says i go to their shows once a week it seems like. i think thats a good thing?! that means they are like getting gigs all over the place non? whatevs, they're playing at the horseshoe tonight. i think it's only $4.00 and if you find the event on FB, and say "attending" they just throw you on the G list. cool. so basically a free fun filled evening on good old queen street. you could even buy me a beer if you feel like it. im in wedding gift debt right now... sigh.

I used to work with Chris Shepherd (not chris shepherd radio pirate mix, another guy) my first job out of school. I had this huge respect and adoration for how cool he was... still do. :) and he is a great resource for great music finds as well. He's having a photog opening party thing. I should have posted this a month ago... but you should check it.

i am going to be in a hip hop video tonight... well hopefully im in it, im driving to the shoot with an incredibly slutty outfit on in hopes that they use the shots of me. im only going to have this bod another 10 years you know! please leave your costume/outfit reco's in my comments. im thinking my black tube dress and high high high heels and then ill probably wear some gold somewhere. maaan that sounds kinda pathetic. i may need to pump it up a notch. you can come to, if you want. email me!

jogee (the bachelor party junkie) was away all weekend again celebrating yet another taken man... and I had a little shower to go to in the burbs. so so exhausted because I haven't slept solo for a really long time, so i was in nightmare central, waking up at 4am to the kids from the orphanage staring at me in my bed. I KNOW! and then turn on the tv to find out the cable's out. so basically I've slept a total of 8 hours the past couple days. thank god for kootnee being home for the weekend and inviting me to her wedding related excursions. fun!!




i sooooo badly want to post pics of her in her dress but the wedding's not for 5 more weeks or something, so no can do. :( jeez yorkville dress shops are so swank. im definitely booking appointments for fun and going with my mom and drinking free champagne. uh huh yup.

friday i was all worn out from the weekly events so i sat on the couch and rented the other boleyn girl (for some reason the cable is shot but ROD is still up and running) ANYWAYS that movie is meh. i give it 2 out of 5 sardines, as the raw critic would say. and than saturday after buying the sickest D&G glasses frames with my daddio,

hitting up koot's shower in torrential downpore, i headed back to my horror movie infested apartment and decided i couldnt just sit around and be scared so i met up with the boys from stone river and hung in there ever so perfect loft. (i cant give these coordinates, but we visited 2 other lofts and they were fucking unbelievable. like jogee and i are moving there)AND we went to a professional pillow fight thing. CRAZY. i didnt get any pics of that but ill try and find some info and link it. apparently its broadcast on the internet. so intense. you have no idea...










i wore my new shirt that my bro and his WIFE bought for me in thailand. gorgeous i tell you, just gorgeous. i was really really really feeling this outfit. i even wanted to wear it again today...be prepared to see me in this often in the next few posts. :)
