i know everyone and their mother is always trying to plug bands all over the internet but if there is one band that i completely love and adore and think will be gigantor in the next couple years it's this one. Jay Spectre . They're having their cd release on Saturday Sept 6 at the Horseshoe. you should go. and if you can't make it you should atleast go to their myspace and listen to their songs and add them to your friend list. oh and i just happen to have their fancy new album in my hands.... and it just happens to be produced by Gavin Gardiner from The Wooden Sky .

oh i forgot, so last weekend... i think it was last weekend... we went to this house party on our street, and well, ripped it up to about a 7. so not that bad, but bad enough that you need bacon and eggs in the morning immediately.. so we're on our way to wimpy's which is now called rocket something...and there just happens to be a bunch of guys from the other side of the street with a crap load of free beer from their party the night before..like 3 kegs full...and they convince us to have 1 free beer with them, which ends up being 8 free beers with them, and me moving my car to the front of their house so we could jam to classic rock, and someone finding an old carpet and laying it out to establish the zone, and burgers and hot dogs for breakfast instead of eggs. needless to say it was a good day. but we havent seen any of those dudes since that day...i hope they come out of hiding again..

it's frosh week for engineers this week just so you know. we saw these guys on the street when we bumped into our neighbour and we asked them how they wash that shit off and he was all " you just have to stand in the water and rub it off for a long time" duh you idiot. anyways he continued to tell us what the purple stuff is made of, but i got bored after the first question we asked him so i don't remember what he said.

how was your long weekends everybody?? does anyone want a broken alarm clock from excessive use of the snooze button. haha har har i am such a comedian. that walking tour was a friggin success, even caitlin said so, more then once. and trust me she knows fun. that sounded sarcastic but im serious. google bruce bell tours immediately and book yourself some of that shit. there is too much of toronto you guys dont know about. and i know all my readers are from toronto because my statcounter says so, so get on that. so so so could i say so some more?

i was in a full on breakdown from 2:00pm saturday until noon on Sunday because my mom didn't call me back to tell me where she was. it was a full on reverse roles moment. so there were no pictures taken during that period. we were in collingwood soaking up the sun though just in case you are wondering. i also ate the most delicious poutine in ontario. your welcome for planting that seed, good luck finding one as delicious and that isn't from harveys. :)

i missed out on meeting some people that i've been hearing about for months which bummed me out pretty big time on friday night (chlo im talking to you) but hopefully they come back to visit and we can party like we were supposed to. siiiiiigh

and the main reason for the excessive hitting of the snooze this morning was due to the booze cruise we went on for jogee's sista's birthday yesterday. it was $35 includes food chicken, rice, salad, cheese macaroni casserole, and gravy but no booze, oh and 4 hours of sailing around the island and loads of hip hop reggae and old school music to dance to upstairs. we were also a minority for a change. and witnessed some of the biggest marijuana cones I've seen in canada, and i was also probably considered anorexic on the boat cause all the ladies were BAM! BAM! BAM! all over. it was nice. i wish i knew how to move a little better... meh... i don't think anyone noticed. HAHAHAHAHAAHAH im joking. they definitely noticed.

we couldn't have had a better weather long weekend. FINALLY. ugh sick im looking down at my beer gut right now and it is not pretty. this post may be delayed due to the extreme feeling of guilt im having about not going to the gym for the past 2 weeks...

went to the drake last night for jen's bday party...with steph and raymi and fil . i wish i remembered my camera was in purse earlier in the night cause i got zero pics of the good time party time that went down until we got banished to the main floor bar and subsequently had to travel to strange love on my ownskees to dance it up with banana. it was a great start to a looooooooooooooooooooong weekend. woo!

go to collingwood and hoot and hollar at ginos on wasaga beach
and go on a booze cruise around the islands
and sleep

so i wake up this morning with this crazy pain in my chest, like on the right side, above my boob, pretty much in this exact same location the whole time and when i breathe it's like burning knives stabbing me. so i go to work thinking it's heart burn or something and it won't go away so of course i become obsessed with it and then finally around 2 i crack and tell my boss i need to go to the clinic... thinking oh god i probably just made the biggest over reaction ever and i get to the clinic and turns out i have costochondritis. i get some drugs and im back at work, waiting to hit up the dentist at 4pm so i can get those hideous metal fillings removed and replaced with white ones. what a lovely day eh? however my teeth DO look unbelievable. you should go to my dentist actually. i didn't even feel the freezing and the whole process was quick and painless, like for real im not even half joking. this dentist is frigging awesome. go to him.

jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez beijing olympics on PS3 is HARD! like really hard, even for gamers (ie. jogee). we had our second stay in, bring out the blankets (our apt is way too cold, david suzuki would be pissed. but we have no temp control in our portion of the house!) play videogames, eat candy date with jimbob and hayley. i have a major beef with that game. The way you set up your games to play, gymnastics is always at the end... so by the time you get through all the diving and running, you're way too bored of the game to play the gymnastics. crap.

we're coming up to almost a year living in toronto, well me living in Toronto, jogee's lived here for years... and I gotta say my favorite part is going on a late night walk and bumping into at least 10 people you know or hang out with, and you didnt even call them or anything.
