Sperry Topsiders

So I got my Sperry topsiders in the mail today. got em off ebay for 23 dollars. ha hipster losers! unfortunately jokes on me, cause friday when mike had blisters on his feet the size of my feet, caitlin was the greatest girlfriend on the planet and we left the sushi place for 10 mins and went to Get Outside and cait bought mike some new kicks and while i was waiting for her to pay, i noticed AN ENTIRE WALL OF SPERRY TOPSIDERS IN EVERY FUCKING COLOUR. i know i know those ones are like 50 bucks + and mine were half that but for the love of god can i be a fashion icon for 5 minutes?! sidenote: my brother bought the exact same shoes in navy when we were in NYC last year so by default and because we're related I'm going to say that I was the first. other then all of your dads who have been rocking them for 35 years. alright whatever, I'll pair them with a flower dress or something and THEN i will be original. jeez i should have stopped at i got my sperry topsiders...ANYWAYS here they are. a little small, but whatever pristine condition.

not any of the ones from ikea but this way siiiiiiicker one from some random furniture store, and because jogee's parents were dropping a hefty 10 grand or something, they gave us ours for like a totally affordable price. jogee just got the call that its coming tonight! um amazing! too bad its not going to fit through the door and we might need to saw it in half. for reals. we got home and measured and well its going to be very very toight. I'll put pics up if we get it in.

wow, a little bit backed up, its a been a busy couple days...i would give a nice little synopsis, but jogee is waiting for us to get chinese and well to be honest i dont even remember what happened on which day. hahahahahahahaha. ha.

i do remember some things....

jogee always comes through and leaves to get wine, but then comes back with only 1 bottle.
hayley has a joe mcintyre shirt from canada's wonderland from when she was like 8.
girls lose it for puppies.
sushi xtra is pretty much the best sushi in the queen spadina university college richmond area.
bryan is a great guy and i thank my parents for making me go to college so i could meet him.
jungle is still alive.
i need to put a texting block on my phone as soon as i have 2 drinks or more.
karl has a computer in his back pocket.
and i need to take it easy on the beer and increase the situps, cause this flat stomach of mine entirely does not exist anymore.

So I was out with Al the girl and Jogee the guy tonight. It's Jefferies, we got up to no good. Supposed to go to OCAD but drank a Little. WE hung out with Brian (Kelso) and had sushi. Food was crap.
Promptly after dinner we hit some party. WEIRD.
Any hoodle "party" got a little un-ruley. We are at the Kids House, great hosts. Come by they will make dip.
Oh by the way Caitlin and I came over, these guys are the best to hang with late night.

i had a gigantically shitty day yesterday, so jogee took me to Ronnies in Kensington to drink away my sorrows... I LOVE THAT BAR/PATIO/PLACE. I swear i was a full blown hippie in another life...we didnt take any pics (i'm thoroughly regretting that now, there were a million fashion hurricanes and hilarious conversations sitting all around us) but we were having a serious heart to heart. it went incredibly well. Jogee has a beautiful easy going open mind and i have to admit, puts up with a lot of my bullshit. and well it was just a really good moment for us. i think it was anyways...

then we hit up dee's for Jay Spectre . I know I may be biased cause I am in love with Jimmer in a whole bunch of non sexual best friend brother kinda ways, but he is such a great musician and dude and friend and and and and well you should go to their show at the silver dollar on thursday night because they are great. except i think there aren't any horns that night, so it may be a bit of a different show. regardless. they are great, and i think they will get a full blown record deal in Japan after last night's performance.










i don't know how i got that red dot on the side of my nose. but i've had it for a while, like 15 years. maybe its a broken blood vessel? skin cancer? whatever it is, it makes me cringe every frigging time.
