my first swap

so Nicole, from my new extended family held a clothing swap last night, complete with sangria. yum! we all got down to our bras and panties and had a free for all on eachother's old threads. HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP IT WAS AMAZING. Laura brought 2 suitcases full of amazing worn once merchandise. she is officially the most hard core shopaholic I have ever seen. like she literally had the same shirt in 4 different colours and winter coats and dresses and accessories and oh oh oh! definitely made the night for everyone. i would post pics of the 50 or so peices i scored but i have yet to pick them back up at Nicole's. there was so much stuff i couldnt carry it home with me! imagine! holy dream come true. so ill probably have to update later. here's a couple sweet ones from the mayhem!







i gave up a rad pair of jeans to one of the girls that had the exact same body type as me. WEIRD! im sad about that now... i wonder who got the velour sweater? anybody? i completely missed the popular item showcase and winners... ooooo can't wait to see people in my duds. remember those yellow shoes i had guys? well none of you nerds bought them off of me, so they have a wonderful new home with my body double. yay!

(Jogee) So I've been really busy at work lately with my new project. It began sometime 2 weeks ago. Usually I start by entering whatever comes into my head to Google search images and search for funny pics I can manipulate. No real reasoning or thought, just random. like just now, I'm thinking, mullets annnnnnddddd...... jello. Anywho, I think for this project I was searching monsters and somewhere along the line a made these.

so i had plans to go to Cameron's (ill link later) comic book launch party thing at revival, but never made it. sigh. jogee was like " he wouldn't have cared anyways if you went or didnt go" i had to agree. i just like to support ya know... ANYWAYS we met up with the OG gang plus some randoms for some sush after drinking free beers and watching jogee do some weird editing crap at work for some race or something. obviously i wasn't on the internet and fully paying attention to him working... whatever... it was a swell evening. i really wish Kevin would just move to toronto already though. we ended up at andy poolhall for some drinks and jogee telling me no more beers its time to go home. good thing or i would be feeling a hell of a lot worse right now. thanks honey!

pool party turns overcast. :(

holiday monday in the country, well maybe not the country but a really sick poooooool. too bad it all went overcast after 30 minutes of sunshine. very succulent burgers though. mmmmmmmmmmm

so no babies in the fam yet (not me crazies!) but my brother and his WIFE did get a hairy little something, that hopefully i get to babysit, even though it's head may touch the ceilings of our apartment when its full grown. OH MY GOD im writing this in the middle of tony horton plyometrics and SWEAT IS DRIPPING ON THE KEYBOARD. jesus. this guy is killing me.

awwwww maaaaaaaaaan the long weekend is over already? shitty buzz. jogee was off to kitchener for a couple days to play in some baseball tourny. he asked if i wanted to go and sit on the bench and watch like 6 games of softball but i was meh not effing likely honey! so i gathered up chlo and all of her perfect overly datable character traits ;) and went to Niagara with her to hang around in spas and drink wine and bake cupcakes and smoke doobies and frantically yell at dogs and learn to use the word pansy and sweat a lot.

oh but not before we hit up a pre caribana party!!



we only made it to the pre party. we were too smammered to make it to the bar. we went home to change, had to pit stop at red charcoal... and then well yeah that was about it. which brings me to sunday night... oh how glorious it is to not have to wake up early on a monday... so we went to hayley and james' to play poker. but of course no one remembered the liqour store would be closed, so we tore our places apart, not really, we just found liqour we had leftover (half a bottle of jack and 3 mini bottles of champagne) and had serious laughing party. serious. my stomach actually hurt the next day. woo! ab work out for the week done!

i couldn't have been more into this night. and it was a wednesday! and as soon as KZ said come have a beer with me... well... i was sold. so we set up shop on the porch. this was our first time. oh shit i just remembered the chairs are still out there. see ya later chairs! and we drank beers and the weather was superb and then...... get ready for it.... we went inside after 3 hours of perfect laughing chilling porch action to play ............ BEIJING OLYMPICS! yeah getting in the spirit. i think the opening ceremony might be this weekend... in addition to carabana...wow intensity.

so yes olympics. jogee set up the games, so in other words they all blew cause the only reason i promoted that buy (in addition to 3 other games, which came to like $200 worth of gaming expenses, case and mariska! he got mario party so we can all play together or something!) was because i wanted to do gymnastics. floor, beam, you name it. anyway we (me and kz) finally got to play at the very end, when a) i was half awake and b) all out of popcorn was gone and c) i was very very very red eyed and d) the boys were done playing all those dumb jumping/running/swimming games.

anyways i love you kc and the sunshine band. you are a great time. like great. like really great. :)

and C may have decided to wash my car with our new floor cleaning mop from guess where from?! CHINA TOWN!
