A little dream came true on Friday and we went to GZA at the phoenix. Jogees'work friends, both babes, both single (email me and i'll hook it up)came over, we blazed and hit the rainy streets for what would be one of the best shows I have ever been to.
here's bob
here's eric
here's gza on my shit blackberry camera phone.
i lasted about 20 mins with the boys in the back, then had to get right up close to the stage. gza just stares at you while he rhymes, it's beautiful. like bounces from one audience member to the next but always makes sure to make the connection. loved it. also love at hip hop shows when they turn up the bass so high thats all you can hear/feel. damn. even the crowd was on point. wasn't sold out, so tons of room for gettin down. made my weekend. made it.

i've read your blog for awhile but up until this point i have never wanted to comment on something so bad. if i were to be at a show as blazed as you sounded to be and someone was specifically rhyming to me my mind would blow out. and if there was a lot of room to get dowwwwwwwwwwwn i would want to be dancing by a fun funny friend like you! haha. i feel like i sound like a super creep right now, but whatev
aw thanks anon, you should comment more often and reveal your identity, don't be shy. :) haha
and I definitely did not think you were a super creep. lol!
hey
found your blog stumbling through other people's links and how funny to come across a picture of eric makila. long story short, a whole big group of us went to college together (he was the year ahead in broadcasting i was in film) and when i lived in t.dot we hung with the same crowd. i can attest that the dude is awesome, has a wicked sense of humor and a catch for any lady.
aw thats nice van nasty i will let eric know you say whats up, even tough you didnt say whats up to him, but ill tell him that anyways. ;)
